If connie was a crystal gem where would her gem be?

if she was a gem then where would her gem be at on her body? in her glasses? if it's in her glasses that would explain why she wants to still wear her glasses (even though steven healed her) but then she would know that she was a gem and then wouldn't she tell the crystal gems about it? unless she doesn't know but she senses something about her glasses? but then wouldn't she tell the gems about it?
